Maxicom Inc. is a Canadian IT buyback and asset-disposition company based in Brampton, Ontario, established in 2022. We exist to do one thing well: pay businesses for their retired and surplus IT, destroy the data properly, and keep good hardware in use — reuse-first, and honest about what we are.
A buyer, not a disposal service.
Most companies that take your old IT charge you for it. We start from the opposite premise: retired business IT still holds real value — in its memory, processors, drives and components — and that value belongs to you, not to a scrap yard. So we buy it, pay you in CAD, destroy the data to standard, and put the hardware back to work through reuse and the trade.
Reuse-first, by default
We assess everything for reuse before anything is recycled. It's better for your budget (it's why we can pay you), better for the environment, and better documented. Genuine end-of-life material goes to licensed recyclers — we're clear about the difference.
Honest about what we are
We claim only what's real. We work to NIST 800-88 and IEEE 2883-2022 data-destruction standards and issue a certificate per drive. We do not claim R2, e-Stewards, ISO or NAID AAA certifications we don't hold — and where a contract needs AAA, we partner with a certified subcontractor and document it. No fabricated reviews, tonnages or prices. That honesty is the point, not a caveat.
