Maxicom Inc. Information we collect
We collect the information you provide when you request a quote or contact us — such as your name, business, email, phone number, and any asset lists, inventories or files you send — and basic technical information from our website (such as pages visited), used to operate and improve the site.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, arrange collection and settlement, and meet our legal and record-keeping obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
Data on equipment you sell
Any data-bearing media you send us is sanitized to NIST 800-88 / IEEE 2883, or physically destroyed where required, before resale, with a certificate of destruction. Data recovered from your equipment is never accessed for any purpose other than verifying secure destruction.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers who help us operate (for example, form and email providers, and logistics or licensed recycling partners), under appropriate obligations, and where required by law.
Retention & your rights
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above and our legal obligations. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to legal limits, by emailing purchase@maxicom.ca.
